The Surry Knights Softball Team hosted their first annual 5K run in Dobson, NC on May 16th, 2009. There were 55 runners from Mount Airy, Dobson, Winston Salem, Elkin and Cana, VA.

The morning started with a ½ mile fun run and concluded with the 3.1 mile track through the town of Dobson and the campus of Surry Community College. Proceeds went to the Surry Knights Softball Team for scholarships. View the results (pdf format)
