The Surry volleyball team will be hosting a “Dig Pink” event at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2009 against Piedmont College. This will be held in the gym located on the Dobson campus.

The event will promote breast health education in the community as well as assist with raising funds to help eradicate breast cancer.

Surry would like for everyone attending the game to help make a statement by wear something pink. A limited supply of pink Surry volleyball t-shirt will be available prior to the game for $10 each.

While admission will be free, everyone is encouraged to make a donation to the Side-Out Foundation which raises money for Breast Cancer research nationally through volleyball.
